'BUBBLE' Hand-Dyed Yarn | Fingering weight | Multiple Yarn Base Options
About this Colorway:
'Bubble' is named for the iconic entrance made by Billie Burke as Glinda the Good Witch in 1939's The Wizard of Oz -- in that shiny, pink bubble! 'Bubble' is my own dye recipe, and one have really come to love. It is simultaneously pink, purple, lavender and iris in color, with slight changes depending on the light, but would be considered a solid.
The yarns in this listing are dyed in just one of the shades that my 'Bubble' dye recipe can produce, so you may be seeing more renditions of 'Bubble' from the Do Tank in the future! It's a dynamic colorway that I suspect has more magic up its sleeve.
Hand-Dyed Yarn | Available in two skein types:
Full Skeins:BULKY weight | 100g Skeins | 137 yds | 125 meters
100% Fine Superwash Merino Wool | 4 ply
This super-soft yarn base is ideal for cozy sweaters and accessories. It is buttery-soft and has plenty of 'squish'.
Mini Skeins:
20 g Skeins | 80 yards | 73 meters
80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon | 2 ply
This yarn base is mostly superwash merino, but includes nylon for durability. Such a blend is ideal for socks and other accessories that must stand up to heavy washing and wearing. While this base sounds tough, it is still smooth and soft against the skin.
